Housemates 2: If Keith had stayed epilogue
“It’s just gone. No, we don’t know how he did it, but as soon as he did… whatever he did it just disappeared! The entire property went back to how it was before the house showed up!”
Voices drifted through the open door towards Keith from where he lay in a hospital bed. He blinked his eyes a few times at the bright lights and stark white walls of his recovery room. He couldn’t remember how he got here or what was happening. He panicked for a moment before he saw he wasn’t being strapped to the bed like a prisoner.
He tried to shuffle in his bed to get a better spot to listen from, but the numero

There’s nothing left. You failed.
Keith stumbled across the small room and leaned against the doors leading back into the ballroom and pushed as hard as he could. The doors inched open slowly. It took a few more hard pushes and the door swung open.
A cloud of dust was kicked up by the door opening, making Keith cough as he looked around the room. The ballroom wasn’t as it had been just moments before. Everything in it was dilapidated and broken as though nothing living had entered it in years. The wooden table that had seated all of the dinner guests before was little more than a pile of rotting wood and mold. The large ro

“Where are you, Kedde?!” Keith yelled into the darkness.
He was too angry to care about the dangers of the house anymore. He was too angry to care about what happened to him so long as he could stop Kedde and find the children.
Blood ran down his arm from where Matthew stabbed his shoulder. He stumbled along through the house, looking for any clue to Kedde or the kids. He was so tired, though, he felt as though he’d been awake for days. Every step he took got harder and harder. His body felt almost as heavy as his heart. The only thing that kept him moving at this point was his anger.
It didn’t take long before K

“He’s gotta be here somewhere! He wouldn’t just disappear!”
Keith ran through the halls frantically searching any of the nearby rooms; no longer caring for the dangers they could have hiding inside. All he knew was Ethan was missing and he had to find him.
“He-he wouldn’t let them take him! He’s gonna be, gonna be fine!” His breath came in ragged gasps as he ran.
His muffled footsteps were the only noise in the empty halls and rooms. His legs were on fire and his chest was burning with the effort of keeping himself upright. He refused to stop until he found some hint of either Ethan or the ki

Light shown just around the corner where Ethan had disappeared and Keith took off into a run towards it. He ran as fast as he could in the hopes that if he could find Ethan first then Ethan could find Joel before Uncle Tom took him away.
There were lights hung from the walls of the corridor, making Keith’s progress much easier. He felt better knowing he wouldn’t have to drain his flashlight’s batteries any more than he already had.
It didn’t take Keith long before he came to an intersection and he had to decide on which way to go. He stopped to listen for any sound of chains or Ethan struggling before turning to h

“We should just fucking torch the whole damn mansion!”
“We can’t! The kids are inside and they could get hurt!”
Ethan roared in frustration and put his hands on the coffee table in front of him. He and Keith had been at odds about what to do since they had seen a commercial for the kids being on Housemates two hours ago. The two friends rarely argued and doing so was hard on both of them, especially for such a long time.
“Maybe I can go talk to the Director and get the kids out of there!”
“No! We’re not taking that risk if we can avoid it! If we’re going to talk to that shitbag

Keith jerked awake and bolted upright from where he lay on the floor. His head was pounding and his mind felt fuzzy, though he wasn’t sure why. Even though his vision was blurry, Keith tried to look around the room he was sitting in. He blinked a few times to help clear his vision and saw that the room was very large and circular with a domed roof.
“Wha-Where am I?” Keith groaned to himself.
The room was empty, but it looked as though it hadn’t been for long with the amount of scuff marks and footprints in the dust that had settled thick on the floor. Lights were strung along the ceiling of the room, giving it an

“What are you doing with my new dolls?!” The little girl shrieked.
Instead of walking the girl appeared to glide across the floor towards them. She stopped just short of Mrs. Green and snatched the doll of the older woman from its perch on her journal as the woman tried to move away. The young girl huffed as she slid towards Keith and extended a hand out towards him for her doll.
“Give me back my doll,” The girl demanded.
“You’re a g-ghost, aren’t you?” Keith stammered, clutching the doll to his chest.
“Give it to me!”
The girl stamped her foot on the ground and huffed at Keit

Keith could feel the unsettling presence of eyes upon him as he passed through corridor after corridor. Whether they were TV viewers or something else he didn’t know nor did he want to know. He moved quickly through any large rooms and kept to the hallways and light spots as best he could. Who knew what he’d find if he lingered in the shadows of this house.
Every so often he would hear the sounds of others nearby and try his best to stay out of sight. He didn’t want to risk running into anyone else if he could avoid it, especially if it meant having to fight them. Last season had shown him just how dangerous the people

“You can’t be serious! They’re not even old enough to sign anything to participate in the show!”
“It’s the rules: once someone goes in they can’t get out. It’s not something I have control of.”
“You’ve been able to get your equipment in there just fine, so I know you can get the kids out if you want to!”
“Well, if we are going to get them out we can’t just leave them running around everywhere, now can we? What do you expect me to do with two children while directing a show?”
“If you get them out, I will come to get them personally.”
